We are currently seeking a talented individual for the position of Supervisor, Access Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, development, operation and administration of Identity and Access Management systems, standards, and procedures.  Provides expertise and strategic direction for current and new initiatives.  Assists the Manager of IT Security in the initiation, support and monitoring of security programs and services in order to attain successful completion of company and department goals.  Works with key business and IS Department leaders to identify and improve related business processes and information that increase corporate synergies. Directly supervises and oversees staff, contractors, and consultants as needed to plan, develop, support, and implement strategic IT Security initiatives.

Position-Related Duties

  • Responsible for UNS Identity and Access Management systems, standards, and processes, ensuring they are well-designed, documented, and communicated and follow corporate technology standards.
  • Direct, supervise, and mentor the Access Management staff.
  • Assists the Manager, IT Security with corporate IT strategies and vision that align with Business Area and IS Departmental strategies.
  • Supports the IT Security groups in developing and maintaining strong, productive relationships with Business Area leaders and executives.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of internal controls to ensure that appropriate cyber and physical system access levels are maintained.
  • Manage the ongoing relationship between business clients and Access Management in order to understand requirements, achieve effective and mutually beneficial outcomes, and manage client expectations with respect to service requests and project delivery commitments.
  • Assists in the development, implementation and monitoring of associated corporate IT Security standards, strategies, and policies for security effectiveness and promotes companywide training and awareness to achieve better security.
  • Fosters a collaborative security environment to enhance UNS security posture.
  • Communicates risk-based security information to management.
  • Participates on projects as a key member of IS to ensure business requirements for systems are effectively planned and implemented, and integrated with the corporation's overall Application and Infrastructure Portfolio plans.
  • Establish Access Management budget and perform recalculations of budget.
  • Researches and keeps informed of new Information Technologies and assists in evaluating for appropriate security solutions within the company.
  • Works closely with the IT Compliance Management Office to help assure compliance with IT-related requirements from regulators and auditors.
  • This position may provide services to affiliates of the Company subject to the UNS Energy Code of Conduct and the related Policies and Procedures.
  • Management Responsibilities
  • Ensure that the Company's management principles, policies and programs are consistently practiced and continually support the Affirmative Action Plan.
  • Comply with and administer the terms and conditions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
  • Assume fiduciary responsibility for operating the business and provides recommendations on cost improvement measures.
  • Ensure that the Performance Management program is administered uniformly and effectively.
  • Mentors staff and peers to enhance their understanding of IT security processes and technologies.
