AltaGas - Senior Vice President Strategy, Midstream
Brief description of role:
Reporting to the EVP and President, the SVP Strategy, Midstream is accountable for Midstream's integrated business plan, the identification of strategic growth opportunities, and driving accountability for the business strategy.
Responsibilities:

Work with EVP, Midstream and the Midstream Leadership Team to develop Midstream's long-term strategic plans and communicate it across the business, including business development for both short term and long term supply planning

Responsible for development and implementation of the business strategy for Midstream

Oversee market assessments, strategy development and long range planning for Midstream

Responsible for developing standards and processes to identify and secure key customers, and for maintaining key customer relationships

In partnership with Finance, steward Midstream's integrated business planning process

Define the customer strategy, including the customer journey and desired customer experience

Oversee relationships with key upstream and downstream partners, and service providers

Evaluate energy landscape to understand emerging trends and market disruptions and identify resultant implications on customers and brand

Identify and develop strategic growth opportunities (e.g., future fuels, future markets, etc.) to maximize commercial potential and deliver target returns
You Have:
-
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, or related field
-
Minimum 15+ years of experience in engineering, operations and/or strategy and planning, with a focus on the upstream or midstream energy industry
Capabilities:

Excellent commercial acumen, and deep knowledge of the LNG market and value chain

Excellent knowledge of capital project lifecycle and project management standards

Expertise in customer experience and developing customer centric business strategies
